The back cover was blank. Just a solid color. I started to “slightly” freak out. I opened the first page and it gave a description of the book. But it wasn’t mine. It described something so completely different (which of course I can’t remember now) but it made me frantically flip through the pages. And there I found random stories from other books thrown together. Every story but mine. So I went around snagging my ARC’s out of everyone’s hands …then my alarm went off.
So I wonder how it would’ve ended if my alarm didn’t interupt this….dream? It started off so happy and ended up a writers nightmare. It’s almost like those dreams you have when you’re starting the first day of school (or work) and you show up without clothes, or you’re expecting a baby and dream that you forget your baby in the mall (sorry, Alex!).
So any dream interpreters want to make a guess on what my book dream could mean? Do all writers have nightmares about their books or is it just me?
I also dreamt that an octopus ate my husband.

Hi new follower *waves*
Ooh, I hate those dreams that start all happy before turning into a nightmare.
Maybe it's your brain trying to tell you to make sure your cover looks how you want it.
As for the Octopus eating your husband...hmmm. :)
I think it is just anxiety but I am sure it will all come together perfectly!
BTW, too bad about your hubby. (:
wow you sure had a couple of weird dreams. i dont know what they mean but im sure glad theyre not for real. hope you have some happy dreams tonight.

I agree. I think it's anxiety. But the octopus thing is totally a premonition.
i agree with chrissy and candyland - you're definately stressed out. if i lived close by i'd take you to the spa for a pedicure and then we could binge on chocolate while watching a chick flick. i'm sure you'd be feeling better in no time.
but since i can't do that, i'll just give you virtual hugs. <>
I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who has crazy dreams - although, no octopus has ever made it into one of mine yet ;)
Yep, I agree...it's probably just worry/anxiety of seeing that cover. Here's hoping it's everything you want and have been expecting!
What a strange dream! I'm sure everything will be fine.
I hope you caught the octopus and avenged your husband's death...
ooooh! I had the SAME dream!! Well, not exactly, but my ARC's came and the cover model looked nothing like my mc and I was so upset! Those are great to wake up from and realize you need to step away from the writing!
