Longest Name in the World. Ever.

As writers, don't we hope to someday be recognized by our names? What if your name was so....unique, that  it was the very reason you stood out?

A long time ago, in a yearbook far far away … there was a little boy by the name of
Knight whose parents must've been really big Star Wars fans.
So big that they named their boy… Jed I. Knight

Beware Asian thieves and crooks: Batman, son of Superman, lives in Singapore and is
ready to kick your butt anytime. Ok, being named after both superheroes could be a
little too much, but hey, Asian streets are tougher.

Who would ever go to dentist called Just-in-Pain? Okay, I would. It would be so funny!

New Zealand judge ordered a name change for this embarrassed nine-year-old girl
called 'Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii.' The girl was so mortified that she had
not revealed the name given by her parents to friends, who simply knew her as K.

You could seriously say your cab driver was An Ass!

Jennifer 8. Lee, journalist, was not given a middle name at birth,
so she chose "8." as a teenager. For many Chinese, the number
eight symbolizes prosperity and good luck.  I think I might change
my name to Rose Number 1 Cooper!

The coolest and most modern name. Ever.
A teenager - formerly George Garratt - claimed to have the longest name
in the world after changing his name to:
Captain Fantastic Faster Than Superman Spiderman Batman Wolverine Hulk And The Flash Combined.

I always had a fear of marrying someone with the last name Bush. Or Garden. Or Bud.  So, what would you change your name to?

Hahaha where did you find all of these? Too funny! With the first name Anne I could have had many...

Hahahaha! I knew someone whose name was Justin Case. And another guy whose last name was Boe and his fiance had plans to name their first daughter Rain.

I only had to deal with having a famous name: Emily Dickinson.

Bahahah... Bush or Garden, that would have been awful.

I'm happy that my name is unique and doesn't match anything or sounds ridiculous!

Oh these are fantastic!!! I used to tell my parents I was going to name my son "Major". They suggested I name my children "Doctor" and save the expense of medical school!

Those are hilarious! Thanks Rose.

I'm going to have to come up with a pen name some day. Do a Google image search for Matthew Rush if you want to find out why.

oh wow, the things people do to be recognized. I always feel bad for kids with hyphenated last names, what if they marry someone with a hyphenated name and then have kids????

So awesomely funny! Great pictures.
I want to change my middle name to Danger. It isn't original but I would feel like such a badass all day every day.

I really did know a girl named Rose Bush in junior high school (very memorable girl). And my dentist was actually named Dr. Payne. So I guess it was no surprise that I married Bill and became Trudi Trueit.

Oh my. Those names are CRAZY. Thanks for the laugh this morning.

Yeah... it's a good thing you don't have Bush or Garden as your last name.

Hilarious! Now I want to change my name...
Remember when "River" was the oddest name?

Loved these! Thanks for posting. Some parents (or people if they change their names) get a little too creative and/ or just don't think.

My mother once knew a woman named Iwana who married a man with the last name of Dye.

Oh my. Those are some names! I don't know if I'd want to change my name. Even as a kid I was okay with it since it wasn't anything strange. Thanks for sharing these!
Happy weekend,
Karen

There's a urologist in Toledo named Dick Tapper.

And we have friends who just named their kid Michael Hawk. It doesn't seem so bad until you abbreviate Michael to Mike and say it out loud.

I'm not sure if I can look at that baby without laughing.

Those are a hoot and a half. I knew a kid whose name was Harry Balls. Seriously. What parent would do that to their kid???
