This weeks topic is Revisions. I think it's only appropriate since my deadline for revisions is a week from today. So, how about some fun? I need to think of an acronym for my characters project in this book. Sofia is 11yrs old and she's doing a pet exchange with other students. The theme for the book is a foreign exchange student, so that word can be used too. Originally, I called it The Foreign Pet Exchange Program. But TFPEP doesn't seem funny. Here are some ideas that
Amie and I brainstormed:
TAPE -Totally Awesome Pet Exchange (TAPE Program)
FACE - Foreign Animal Coolness exchange
FAT- Foreign Animal Trade
CAFE- Cool Animal Foreign Exchange
APE- Animal Pet Exchange (She could say "the Super Cool APE")
FARTY-Foreign Animal Regional Trade, Yeah!
What ideas do you have?
PS-in case you didn't notice, yes, my blog title is DUMB.

haha! Those are great! I'd certainly got with 'APE' seeing as it, too, is an animal. :o) I have an end of the week deadline too! I'll be thinking of you :o)
I liked TAPE. That sounds like an 11yo. How about FALL. Foreign animals lovin' life. Haha
Wow I'm in awe of all the awesome on this page, TAPE is so cool, and def sounds like a middle grader would come up with. APE is cool beacuse it's animal like, but FALL is pretty bad azz as well. Let me think and I'll get back to you!!!

as you know, i LOVE these~! but my favorite is FART! afterall, it IS gossip from the boy's (bath) room. and what 12 yr old doesn't LOVE bathroom humor?!! FARTY is just as great because the Yeah on the end is so like a kid!

I'm going to ditto Jen's comment. It pretty much sums up what I was going to say. Love this post and acronyms are so cool, especially in MG.
I like APE and FARTY - though all of the ideas are pretty grin-worthy. Wishing you great revision vibes this week!
