Aliens snatched my brain!

I've been locked away in my writing cave, finishing up Blogtastic #3. I'm having a blast writing SECRETS. It's so fun to take your MC out of their normal setting and putting them into unfamiliar situations. You never know what will happen! So far I have:

Aliens
Bigfoot
A secret mystery cabin
Wild rabid animals
Zombies
Ghost stories
Prank wars
Food fights
Accidents, chaos, and hysteria
And of course, lots and lots of secrets!

And that's only part of it! I have no idea if all this will make the final cut, but I'm learning so much more about my MC. I'm learning that she hates being in difficult situations and well...she's kind of mad at me at the moment since I totally embarrassed her in front of a cute guy. But being a tween isn't supposed to be easy, right?

Do you like pushing your MC beyond the norm?

My MC is dating thirty guys in thirty days. I'm pretty sure I've pushed her past NORMAL a long time ago!!!!

OOooo I love Prank Wars! Reminds me of when I was at Summer Camp! I can't wait for #2 to come out but knowing you've got #3 up your sleeve is FAR TOO EXCITING!

Ha! Sounds like you're putting your MC through ordeal after ordeal. Yes, being a tween isn't easy! Good luck!

Zombies, Bigfoot, and aliens...oh my! Sounds like you are having a lot of fun with your MC. I like putting my MC in strange and new situations too. I learn more about her that way. Although it does make me feel a bit like an evil puppet master sometimes ;)

Sounds awesome! Yeah... to say that my characters are going through abnormal stuff is like saying Darth Vader isn't a nice guy...
